With a 3-axis impact sensor, the MiVue Dashcam automatically saves footage at the moment of impact so you will have a record for what happened in the case of an accident. The bright F2.0 lens with 1080p Full HD recording will easily capture details, such as license plates.

Apart from event recording in case of an accident, the MiVue can also capture the best the road has to offer, whether it is road trip scenery, wildlife crossing, or a funny social media-worthy event! Manual recording allows you to easily press a button on the device to save the video.

The MiVue powers on automatically and starts recording when you turn on your car so there is no need to remember to activate the record function each time you drive your car. Parking mode also allows you to record while you’re parked if the impact sensor detects an impact. Once you’re done, simply upload to the Magellan MiVue Manager, and review and download any footage you’d like to keep. GPS logs are taken from the 5-minute increment videos, and plotted onto Google Maps. MiVue Manager also records your driving directions with a 3-axis Impact Sensor for post accident analysis to see from which directions the impact took place. Afterwards, users can upload video to YouTube or Facebook via linked accounts.
